The Beginning 8.25.26
Visit back soon and stay tuned for more.
This is a home away from home. Think your local dive bar where your corner stool is always waiting for you with open arms and peeling green leather. Every visit is different but there's always somebody who remembers your name or offers a quick smile. The same pervasive love, warmth, and quiet acceptance in every visit. We meet you where you are.Â
It's like a a deep breath of always familiar cigarette smoke. The sound of a door clicking shut behind you. The buzz of the warm, fuzzy static left behind on your tv screen after it shuts off.
This is an extension of who I know I am, who I want to grow into, and who I know I am able to become. This is for growth and balance and softness.
This is a homecoming. A return to what was always meant to be created.
A refocus on love.
This is for ourselves past, present, and future.
SEttling in  9.11.26
The other day, I used the word "rich" while talking about this new chapter. I didn't mean rich in the sense of expensive or luxurious, but in the sense that this feels full and deep and whole. I had so quietly and unknowingly lost a spark and made myself smaller for the sake of trying to fill every box and patch every hole and had done so in a way that I almost didn't even notice. I felt "off" and kept blaming it on everything within myself until I tapped into who I am at my core.
Stripped of outside influence I have found myself so quickly falling back in love with creating - experiences, hair, art, and love.
In my day to day it brings me immense joy to think that small kind actions can make somebody's day: remembering a favorite coffee order, a longer head massage after a long week, a lunch shared over a vent session where we break down months of major life upheaval. Every last second of it fills my cup in ways I have yet to find words that accurately portray the depth of meaning these seemingly small actions carry for me.Â
The love and heartfelt kindness I have received back from everybody during this change has reshaped my sense of self and deeply shaken confidence back into a shape that feels like a long forgotten version of myself.Â
Now that the suite and the vision for Love Letters have fully begun to take shape and grow roots, it feels so genuine and like the home I did not even realize my heart had been searching for. I hope that the love and care I am putting into curating this space and the Love Letters salon experience is felt just as deeply by you all.
The goal here is simple, that we each leave this space feeling cared for more deeply by each other and ourselves than we felt when we walked in.
So thank you- For being here, for giving us the space to change, for the love, and for all of it.
